Class Schedule
Muay Thai Class
This is our main class and is designed to be a traditional-style Muay Thai workout; our trainers will take you through their most effective combos. Our trainers are highly experienced at holding pads and have had many years of success in the ring. Techniques taught by our trainers include movements of the 8 limbs (boxing, kicking, knees and elbows) which have proven to be highly effective combos in Muay Thai.
Our class structure will incorporate shadow boxing, bag work, pads and technical partner work.
So expect plenty of sweat, grit and the need for will power. Our trainers will watch over you to correct your technique in your punches and kicks to deliver the utmost power. This class is great to build up speed, power and help you achieve your fitness goals.
Please note that our trainers will adjust the skill level according to the students in the class.

Strength and Conditioning Class
Strength & Conditioning (S&C) is a 1.5 hour class suited for all levels. The goal of this session is to get your heart rate up, while working on improving your strength and endurance and building your core muscles. Exercises are simple, but effective where the focus is on good technique and injury-prevention. Rather than risking injury, our S&C class will help you build a more injury-resistant body and help you get even better results in your Muay Thai training.
Boxing and Conditioning Class
This is a fitness and conditioning class that incorporates high-intensity boxing combos with body-weight exercises. This 90-minute fast-paced class is designed to make you sweat! All that is required is a pair of gloves, wraps and strong, lasting determination. All fitness and skill levels will be catered for – so it doesn’t matter if you are just starting out or you have been training for years. It is also a great way to build up interval training for other sports or general fitness.
HIIT Class
Our trainers will have a combination of high-intensity interval movements using body weight exercises as well as powerful explosive movements using weights. This class is designed to push your muscles to the limit and we focus more on an active recovery as we switch muscle groups between exercises to maximise calorie burn and to build muscle resilience.
Self Defence Class
The self-defence class is designed to teach you effective and practical self-defence in a safe and friendly environment. You will be taught how to defend and counter attack using certain Muay Thai techniques and combinations. You will learn sweeping movements, blocking and leaning back to avoid attacking movements. You will develop a good understanding of the physical strengths, weakness and limitations of both you and your opponent. The program is not physically demanding and does not require a high level of fitness. It is designed on getting you in shape and relieving stress.
We can accommodate most fitness levels – simply inform the trainer prior to class if you are new to exercise or have any special requirements.
Equipment required: Hand wraps, gloves and sweat towel
Sparring Class
This is a sparring class for those who want to take their training to a higher level, hone your Thai Boxing technique in this more technique-focussed class where you get to try out combinations on a partner in a controlled environment. Wearing protective gear, and working at a lower power, you’ll learn to block, parry, dodge and evade kicks and punches and attack with the grace of a Thai fighter. Here’s where you get a taste of being hit, and hitting back – while under the watchful guidance of our trainers.

Have any training questions to ask our trainer? Well this is the session for you!
This session is available for all KPT members and is designed to be an Open Gym self-practise session with an added bonus. One of the experienced trainers from KPT Gym will be floating around to answer any questions you have about anything from flying elbows, to sparring combos, holding pads, balance issues, and how to tweak certain movements for more effectiveness or accuracy (KO power).
You can come with a friend to practice your pad work or sparring (please BYO safety gear), or just show up alone to work on the bags, shadow boxing, or find another KPT member to work with. The idea is to work on what our trainer advises you and see improvements in just one session.
A program for our mini Muay Thai students which develops self-defence, focus and self-confidence while imparting core values of respect and humility. By teaching Thai Boxing in a carefully monitored environment, children can develop strength and fitness through cardio and conditioning exercises and mental agility through the learning of punching and kicking routines.
This 60-minute class will work on your kid’s balance, coordination, and basic martial arts movements in a fun environment. This class will not only help kids build their social skills but will also improve their phonic and English language as you will have English games included in the fun; thanks to owner/trainer, Kru Kym.

Kids Class
Girls Can Kick Class
Muay Thai training can assist in empowering women and girls to build confidence, strength, resilience and community. KPT Gym is passionate about bringing more women into the sport. Our girls only class is structured the same as our Muay Thai Technique class, however it is invitation to our female members only. The class is a fun, friendly space for women to push their fitness while learning authentic Muaythai.
Please note that our trainers will adjust the skill level according to the students in the class.
